Wesley's First Christmas

We were very blessed this year and were lucky enough to celebrate Christmas with all sides of our family this year.  Both of my sisters had to work on Christmas Sunday so for immediate family we had a big dinner on Christmas Eve at my parent's house.  Posole, rice, beans and enchiladas for dinner and spice cake for dessert got our bellies nice and full and ready for presents.  I took a ton of video of Wes opening gifts but for some reason when I try to upload it here, it ends up all glitchy.  Sigh.
Oh well, he wasn't quite sure what was going on at first.  He sat in Casey's lap and he would start the wrapping being torn for Wes and he just kind of looked at it.  Casey would tear a piece off and instead of looking at what is inside the gift Wes tried to eat that piece of paper.  He did get excited when the present was all the way open and he could play with it.  Wes received books, clothes, snacks and lots of toys that he will enjoy for may months.  Casey received some shirts, a tool box, a Keurig coffee maker and the accoutrement that comes along with it and from Wes, some Nerf pistols.  I got some jammies, video games, a shirt, some gift cards for dinner and from Casey, a brand new camera (which I used very much the next day).
So here is some of our Christmas day pictures.  The timeline starts at my paternal grandparents' house for lunch, then on to dinner hosted by one of my mom's brothers and his wife, then to finish the night at Casey's brother's house for pie and ice cream.
