Wes is now at an age where everything and everyone is so funny! He laughs at me when I sing in the car, he laughs at the dogs as they wait for him to drop food.
He loves to get tickled. He loves the anticipation aspect of it, the waiting just kills him and he usually starts laughing before you touch him. He has just started snorting while being tickled and it makes him laugh even harder!
He is having a hard time adjusting to the time change this week and has not napped like normal because of this. However, while I have had him in his room while 'napping' he has entertained himself just fine.
I can hear him laughing and look on his monitor to see him jumping on his bed. Or he has pulled all of his stuffed animals into bed and he is rolling around in them. Or he is just kicking his legs around. He laughs and laughs, when he isn't just sitting there talking to himself.
He is such a parrot as well. I am doing so well at watching my language because he is copying abou 75% of what I'm saying. He is copying sounds and intonations and boy, is he getting good. He is also daying his words when he signs as well. I think that by 2 he will be almost speaking and not talking.
He says: Dad, Mom, go, side, eat, peas (please), NO, stop, dog, more, apple, shoe, pay (play), and baba (banana). That is just some of his words, whatever I can remember right now.
He signs: eat, more, please, banana, apple, crackers, baby, bird, dog, socks, shoes, play, and sleep.
My funny boy is getting so big!
